Tensor for trade subcontractors

The AI operator that runs the paperwork that gets you paid.

Big-company automation, without the big-company budget.

Tensor builds your pay apps before the cutoff, bills every extra from the foreman’s signed ticket, sorts your bid invites and answers certificate requests, in the tools you already use, Excel included. It checks with you before anything goes out, and never signs for you.

01 · Why it pays off

Pay apps, extras and bids decide when you get paid.

A pay app due Friday, an extra nobody billed, a bid invite buried in the inbox. A few minutes each, hours every week, and the ones that slip are money you already earned.

Every extra on the next bill.

  1. Tuesday, a foreman emails a signed ticket as a PDF. Tensor logs it, prices it from your rate sheet and drafts the change request.
  2. Once you approve it, it reaches the GC that day, not three weeks later, and Tensor follows up every week.
  3. On the 20th the approved change sits on your pay app with the waivers and backup, ready for you to sign before the GC’s cutoff.

The result: every extra you did ends up on a bill.

02 · What it handles

Hand it the work you repeat most.

Each one is work your office does by hand today, across the inbox, the PDFs you’re sent, your Excel logs and your calendar. Pick one to see Tensor do it.

Every pay app in on time

Builds each pay app from your schedule of values and the approved changes, gathers the waivers and backup, and drafts the GC’s email before the cutoff. You sign; it never does.

03 · What Tensor can do

Your office, caught up by Monday.

  • Picks up tickets, bid invites and GC emails as they arrive, nights and weekends too.

  • Anything new, unclear or that needs a signature comes to you first.

  • For every job, see what it read, what it changed and who approved it.

05 · You stay in charge

You sign. Tensor never does.

Tensor checks with you before it sends a pay app, a change request or a certificate, and every signature stays yours. Once you trust it, let it send the routine follow-ups on its own, within limits you set.

  • Your passwords are never shown to the AI
  • Your business’s data is kept separate from everyone else’s

06 · Getting started

No setup project. Just plain English.

  1. Pick a ready-made automation. Tensor asks only what it needs: your schedule of values, your rate sheet and your bid log.
  2. Or describe it. Tell Tensor what you want done, in a sentence, like “When a foreman sends a signed ticket, price it from our rate sheet and send the GC a change request.” It shows you its plan before it starts.
  3. Or teach it. Show Tensor a task on a website once, like filling in a GC’s prequalification form on their website, stopping before Submit, and it learns the steps. Nothing to install.

After you sign up, Tensor sets up your first automation with you, and help is one message away.

09 · Questions

Questions, answered.

Does it sign pay apps or waivers?

No. You sign. Tensor builds the pay app, gathers the waivers and backup and drafts the email, and nothing goes out until you approve it.

Does it work in the GC’s portal?

Not yet. It prepares everything the portal asks for, and emails it wherever the GC accepts email.

Does it do takeoffs or estimates?

No. It sorts your bid invites, logs the due dates and follows up after bid day. The pricing stays yours.

Does it collect payments?

No. It never collects money, files liens or gives legal advice. It keeps your pay apps and extras on time, so the paperwork is never why you’re paid late.
