Will it send proposals without me?

No. Each reply, proposal and hold waits for you, and goes out only once you approve it.

Does it work with my booking software?

It works alongside it. If you use it in a web browser, show Tensor a task there once. A direct connection is set up with you. It doesn’t replace your booking software.

Does it take deposits?

No. It never takes deposits, refunds or payments of any kind. It can remind a client that a payment is due.
