This article explains what the Library is and how to start an automation from it.
What the Library is
The Library is a collection of ready-made automations, organised by industry. Each one is a job that has already been worked out, so you do not have to describe it or show it from scratch.
The Library starts with a few industries. It grows as new ones are added.
When to use it
Use the Library when:
- You are new and want to see a finished automation working in your own workspace.
- A common job in your industry is already there.
- You want a starting point to adjust, not a blank page.
If the job you need is not in the Library, create it yourself by describing it in plain words or by showing it once in your own browser. See Getting started.
Start an automation from the Library
- Open the Library and look through the automations for your industry.
- Read what the automation does and what it needs, such as a connection to Gmail, Google Calendar or Google Sheets.
- Start it with one click.
- Connect anything it needs.
- Send it one real example, by forwarding an email or typing a request in the app.
- Approve, decline, or correct what it proposes.
- Read the receipt to confirm the result.
Make it fit your business
A ready-made automation is a starting point. Your business will differ in small ways.
- Run a few real examples.
- When a result is not right for you, correct the run. The correction updates the instructions as a new version.
- If a change makes results worse, roll back to an earlier version.
The same rules apply
An automation from the Library works like any other:
- Tensor asks before it writes or sends anything. A reply or message it writes always waits for approval.
- You can set limits so routine steps inside them run without asking.
- When information is missing or conflicts, Tensor stops instead of guessing.
- Every run leaves a receipt.
What it costs
One you start from the Library counts as a new automation, included in your plan's number each month (5 credits each beyond it). Finished runs use your plan's credits, one credit each. Your plan also sets how many automations can run at once. See Billing in credits.
If your industry is not there yet
The Library grows as new industries are added. In the meantime:
- Create the automation yourself by describing it or showing it once.
- Describe the job at Try it live to see the automation Tensor would draft for it. It needs no account.
- Email support@tensorautonomous.com to tell us which job you would like to see.
